For office carpets, Nylon offers superior durability, resilience, and color retention for high-traffic areas but costs more, while Polypropylene (PP) provides excellent stain/moisture resistance and affordability for lighter use, though it's less resilient and can fade faster, making Nylon ideal for main offices and PP great for budget or specific functional needs like moisture-prone zones.

Nylon (Polyamide)

Pros: Extremely durable, crush-resistant, excellent colorfastness, retains shape, easy to clean, long lifespan (10-15+ years).
Cons: Higher initial cost.
Best For: High-traffic commercial areas (hallways, main offices, conference rooms) where longevity and appearance are priorities.

Polypropylene (PP/Olefin)

Pros: Very affordable, inherently stain and moisture-resistant (hydrophobic), great color for UV exposure (outdoor friendly), low static.
Cons: Less durable, fibers flatten/mat faster, can retain oil-based spills, shorter lifespan (7-10 years).
Best For: Budget-conscious projects, light-traffic areas, or spaces needing moisture/stain resistance (e.g., break rooms, seasonal areas).
